This is a short film about courtship based on a series of Victorian book Danielle (Director) got as gifts for christmas. This film is a humorous spin on the original serious tone of the books. The purpose is to teach recent generations how attitudes towards men, women and relationships were and how much they have changed today.

etiquette for the becoming lady test 3Da
Same 3D test we did, but changed the hue/ saturation. this might be the style we will be going for. However, both character and background are still too flat.
- need more experiment with the camera angle.
etiquette for the becoming lady test 3D
From all the previous tests we did - 2D cut out/ collages. We wanted to try something different with the 3D layers in After Effects, so we went to the Greenwich University and took photographs and tried to assemble everything together.
etiquette for the becoming lady test 3
And so we changed the background with the photographs we have taken at the V&A museum.
- Seems like both colours do fit in.
etiquette for the becoming lady test 2b
Both tests we did before (2 and 2a) were still too bright, so we lowered the saturation even more.
We noticed to make the background and the character match we need to either change the colour of the background or the colour of the character.
- need more research on the colour they used/have in the Victorian period.
etiquette for the becoming lady test 2a
From the previous test we did in collage, we noticed the colours were too bright, so we lower the saturation.
etiquette for the becoming lady test 1a
From the first test we did, we know the background and the character didn't match, so we changed the colour levels and tried to blend the 2 together.
- we noticed the dimension of the background wasn't right, so we decided to create the background in collage instead.
etiquette for the becoming lady test 1
In this test we were trying to see if the background and the character fit in.
- photograph was taken from the V&A museum.
