Images for animatic

Hello. Its Danielle!
I wanted to include some images to convey what Im thinking of the sets in my head.
The Wallace collection (which is by far my favourite museum )captures that period feel and is a great reference for our etiquette film

These are some photos I took at theWallace collection. Because you cant use a flash they arn't the best quality.
The top photo- I really like the pastel blue. its very soft and works nicely with the gold frame and silver detail in the curtain. love how similar the curtains and wallpaper are but perhaps it wouldnt be so effective in animation.
the second photo is very inspiring to my vision of the opening scene where we move over variouspaintings before reaching the frame with Miss Fanny in. I love the embellished frames and rich wallpaper. I know we are using pastes throughout but maybe the opening scene can have some dark bold colours???
I should test that
The 3rd photo was another idea for the opening scene, similar to the previous but including the chair. it gives more of an idea of a homely setting. I love the painting of the boats at sea- wouldnt it be funny if miss fanny arrived on a boat??? Its probably a bit much (animating the wind blowing her hair and the waves ect) but nice idea.
The last photo is useful to picture the ballroom scene. a beautiful room to stand in the photo really doesnt do it any justice

and Ill include some more photos below for colour ideas -because this gallery is so rich in colour

Character's name is decided

Yesturday, we decided that out main character will be named Miss Fanny.
here is her colour pelette for the market square scene.

Cobbled floor

This is a cobbled floor test I did on photoshop. I drew the cobbles with my Wacom tablet on a hard edged brush setting. I then used the burn tool to add texture to it and applied it to the background.

The Muppet Show: At the Dance (Episode 1)

nice pastel colours
funny-looking characters and movements

Kind Hearts...

Kind Hearts and Coronets: a film recomended to us. Very witty, lovely period costumes and sets

El retrato Oval- Allan Poe

The parts that show the corridor of paintings is like our opening scene. Though it looks like live action in this film (I know its not) ours will look more illustrative.

The Gentleman's Guide to ... Villainy

I was shown this film and really like the 1920s silent movie style. Even though our film isn't this period I love the drama and humor. Similar to our film, this is an instructional film but guided to the male.
