Hello. Its Danielle!
I wanted to include some images to convey what Im thinking of the sets in my head.
The Wallace collection (which is by far my favourite museum )captures that period feel and is a great reference for our etiquette film
These are some photos I took at theWallace collection. Because you cant use a flash they arn't the best quality.
The top photo- I really like the pastel blue. its very soft and works nicely with the gold frame and silver detail in the curtain. love how similar the curtains and wallpaper are but perhaps it wouldnt be so effective in animation.

the second photo is very inspiring to my vision of the opening scene where we move over variouspaintings before reaching the frame with Miss Fanny in. I love the embellished frames and rich wallpaper. I know we are using pastes throughout but maybe the opening scene can have some dark bold colours???
I should test that
The 3rd photo was another idea for the opening scene, similar to the previous but including the chair. it gives more of an idea of a homely setting. I love the painting of the boats at sea- wouldnt it be funny if miss fanny arrived on a boat??? Its probably a bit much (animating the wind blowing her hair and the waves ect) but nice idea.
